Tienertoneelfees (Eng)

The Klein Libertas Theatre will host the 20th Tienertoneelfees from 9 to 14 August 2027.

The festival will once again be held at the Drostdy Theatre (corner of Alexander and Bird Streets, Stellenbosch).

Existing or newly written Afrikaans and English texts may be performed, but only newly written Afrikaans texts will be eligible for a trophy award. The prize-giving for the festival’s top productions will take place on 14 August 2027 after the final performance (around 21:15). The best production of the festival will be allowed to perform at the 2028 Suidooster Fees.

Entries will open soon. If you wish to join the mailing list for information, please email Marzanne Nagel at klt[at]kleinlibertasteater.co.za to be added.
